Makeup comes and goes, as we’ve all witnessed with the beauty industry and there is always something new being released. If you love makeup and the YouTube beauty community, then you know all about Urban Decay’s All-star Naked Palette. This palette shaped the beauty community into what you know and love today. You probably remember seeing your favs like, ilikeweylie, Jlovesmac1, Jaclyn Hill, and Judy from itsjudytime, create some amazing and beautiful looks with this single palette.
You could create looks going from day to night and anytime in between. If you liked smokey, natural, or something with a bit more sparkle there was a color for you. Famous colors like, gunmetal, hustle, toasted, and half-baked you could always find something that suited your needs.
It’s bittersweet when Urban Decay announced they will be discontinuing their palette for good. No, you aren’t hearing things, this is real. The Naked Palette will now be in the obituaries for makeup, never to return again. It has been a great 8-year run and it’s very hard to say goodbye.
Of course, Urban Decay wouldn’t let one of their most famous palettes say goodbye without going out in style. For as long as the palette remains in stock, it will be 50% off. So, you can snag your favorite for half the price, but once the palette is gone it won’t be coming back.
Right now the Urban Decay website, as well as Sephora, and Ulta’s website are sold out and they won’t be restocking, but Macy’s still has the palette in stock on their website. You could get it from another third party seller like eBay, but the problem there is, you won’t know if you’re getting the real deal or a knockoff. Plus, people can charge whatever price they want and you don’t want to drop money on something that might not be real.
I am sad to see this palette go because it was the foundation of me learning how to blend my eyeshadow, it was my first high-end makeup purchase and I won’t ever forget it.
